Some server troubles have been plauging me for some time now, but purely by chance I got around to making a convinient userscript (Firefox users can use the Greasemonkey extension to execute these) to help me out a little.
Installing and enabling the script will allow Firefox to automatically try to reload any timed out page after five seconds. Simple, but elegant.
I will be putting it online at userscripts.org after I work some issues out, but download the beta here.
