Simply download and run the Adobe SVG installer from Adobe's website, and it should install for both Internet Explorer and Firefox.
If it doesn't work in Firefox (either you get a field containing strange characters, or Firefox insists that the plugin is not installed), here's how to fix it.

  1. Open an Explorer window, and navigate to:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\SVG Viewer 3.0
  2. Copy the following two files:
    • NPSVG3.dll
    • NPSVG3.zip
  3. Navigate to your Firefox plugin directory, typically:
    C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins
  4. Paste the files into this folder.
  5. We should be done; refresh the page containing the SVG graphics in Firefox. If it doesn't immediately work, restart Firefox.

If this doesn't work for you, feel free to leave a comment behind.
