L4D Launcher
L4D Launcher
I'm delighted to announce L4D Launcher version 1.5!
Left 4 Dead 2 support has been long awaited and is finally here. Whether Steam is installed or not, you are able to launch Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 network games—even using custom maps!
The Launcher now also checks in for updates every 14 days; so no need to check this blog.

Update March 3, 2011: The project has been migrated to SourceForge, as project L4D Launcher. Binaries can be downloaded from there, but the source code is also freely available through SVN.

Microsoft .NET framework required.

You're in a better position to determine that than me. You haven't provided me with any information to help you with.

I've made some modifications to the way L4D Launcher looks for the game installation. The latest version as of this writing is 1.5.1.28526.

I'm afraid I no longer support this project and after countless updates to the game, I have no idea if it actually still works.
Originally, L4D Launcher detected the installation path and provided a prompt to select L4D1 or L4D2. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have detected an installation where it expects it.
If you installed L4D through Steam, it should work. Otherwise, I'm afraid it may simply be outdated.

Your launcher really is awesome, but can you help me with something.
When i start a game as Host and i select COOP mode and then the games starts perfectly but my friend that is connected to Hamachi does not se any server. Hamachi is set as primary netword but the IP of L4D is still my LAN ip (192.168.X.X).
How can i set the IP of L4D to be Hamachi's IP.
Thanks a lot
